FROM ONE UNFORGETTABLE DAY TO SIX WEEKS OF TARGETED DEVELOPMENT
Every school is different. Some need an experience that unites the whole school. Others need focused support for a particular year group, examination cohort or group of pupils. Dare to Aspire can be built around your pupils, priorities and timetable. Every programme is delivered personally by George Fouché.
NEW: BEAT YOUR BEST - 60 SECOND CHALLENGE WORKSHOP
50-60 minutes | Age-appropriate delivery | Maximum 60 pupils
A fast moving, highly interactive workshop built around a series of exciting 60 second challenges. Pupils make their first attempt, consider what affected their performance, adjust their approach and go again. They experience rather than simply hear about how improvement can happen when they:
remain focused when the pressure rises
respond positively when an attempt goes wrong
rethink and adapt their approach
communicate and support one another
find the confidence to try again
concentrate on personal improvement rather than comparison
The objective is not to beat another pupil.
IT IS TO BEAT THEIR OWN PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE.
Every challenge brings the Dare to Aspire message to life:
THINK AGAIN. ADAPT. GO AGAIN.
The workshop gives pupils an immediate experience of confidence, resilience, adaptability, determination and teamwork. It also provides staff with a simple, repeatable approach they can continue using after the visit.
Best for: primary and secondary pupils, transition programmes, confidence and resilience days, enrichment events, targeted groups and complete Dare to Aspire school experiences.
